Young Filmmaker Showcase
The Reel Spirit Young Filmmaker Showcase recognizes achievement in video productions and provides young filmmakers an expanding, authentic audience. This recognition event is presented annually in cooperation with Kansas City FilmFest.
The deadline for submissions for the 2012 Reel Spirit Young Filmmaker Showcase is midnight March 1, 2012
Reel Spirit: Young Filmmaker Showcase 2012 will include the category "Reel Spirit of STEM" sponsored by a Time Warner Grant through the Connect a Million Minds Initiative.
The 2010 Reel Spirit Young Filmmaker Showcase Awards were presented on April 17, 2010.
Time Warner Cable digital customers can now watch the top 10 films of the 2010 Reel Spirit Young Filmmaker Showcase on KC On Demand, Channel 113. Just select the "Community" category and then "Reel Spirit." You can watch the films any time and they are free. And only on Time Warner Cable.
